This screen allows you to manage the global settings of Xporter for JIRA.

Output Options

Defines what output formats will the users be allowed to choose when exporting documents. The formats currently supported are PDF, DOCX (Microsoft Word), SVG, PNG, RTF and ODF (Openoffice/Libreoffice).

It also allows defining which output format will be the default one.

Bulk Export Options

  • Break pages: This option controls if and when page breaks are made while exporting multiple issues.
  • Maximum number of issues: This option controls how many issues is a user allowed to export at one time, using multiple issues export.
  • Maximum number of simultaneous requests: This option controls how many Xporter processes can be run simultaneously.

 

Xporter for JIRA Cloud

This last feature is not available in Xporter for JIRA Cloud.

 

Global Permissions

  • Enable Xporter for JIRA for all projects and all users: This option will override the permission scheme configuration. The add-on functionality will be available for all users and all the templates will be available for every issue. NOTE: This will not override the Template Scopes set for each template.
  • Enable Xporter for JIRA panel on Single Issue View: This option will allow the issue to be exported from the Export menu in Single Issue View.
  • Enable Xporter for JIRA option from Export Menu (Issue Detail): This option will allow the issue to be exported from the Export Menu (Issue Detail).
  • Enable XLSX option from Export Menu (Issue Detail): This option will allow the issue to be exported (XLSX) from the Export Menu (Issue Navigator).
  • Enable Xporter for JIRA option from Export Menu (Issue Navigator): This option will allow the issue to be exported from the Export Menu (Issue Navigator).
  • Allow anonymous requests: This option allows unauthenticated clients to invoke the Xporter for JIRA Servlet. Use carefully, when this option is on, it can be used to export issue information without proper permissions.
  • Include Attachments: This option adds the issue attachments to the exported document when exporting in single issue mode and the output format is set to PDF or DOCX.

 

Xporter for JIRA Cloud

Allow anonymous requests feature is not available in Xporter for JIRA Cloud.

Note

This last feature is only available on Single Issue export due to possible performance issues.

 

JIRA Service Desk

This setting is related to the feature that allows Service Desk Customer to have the possibility to get their request exported to a document. By default it's disabled.
