The Xporter for Jira team proudly announces the release of Xporter 6.2.0. This point release contains several new features and bug fixes.
If installing manually from the Atlassian Marketplace, please make sure you install the correct asset for your Jira version (i.e. 7.x, 8.x, datacenter) from the releases page.

My Exports
With this new Xporter version, users will be able to continue working on their tasks while Xporter generates their reports. Xporter is now able to generate documents in the background and the results can be downloaded later.

Improvements on Xporter Issue Panel
The Xporter panel inside of the issue details screen got some improvements. With this new version, you can see the progress of the export process. Also, you can send the export to background processing and continue to export data using other templates and get the result later on My Exports screen.
Process Manager for Jira Administrators
Jira Administrator can now have an overview of all active Xporter export processes. This new feature allows administrators to cancel exports in progress.
The Process Manager feature is only available on Data Center instances.
JQL Helper and Validator on Scheduled Reports
Jira and Project administrators can now take advantage of the JQL helper on Xporter Scheduled reports. Now, only scheduled reports with a valid JQL expression are allowed to be saved.
Issue Type Metadata
Issue Type details are now available to be exported into reports. See the data which is possible to get printed on reports.
${Issue Type} -> prints the Issues Type name
${Issue Type.Id} -> prints the id of the issue type
${Issue Type.Name} -> prints the Name of the issue type
${Issue Type.Type} -> prints the Type of the issue type
${Issue Type.IconURL} -> prints the icon url of the issue type
